The project supervisor staff includes many who’ve been with the company for years and are builders by trade. They have the knowledge to achieve a high level of quality, and they keep those expectations in mind on every project.

With a solid background in homebuilding and a keen eye for creative design, Matt Heslin has built Heslin Construction into an award-winning luxury mountain home builder in the Tahoe-Truckee area.

Nearly two decades ago, Matt started out working on a framing crew, made up of “two guys, a pickup truck, and a dog.” Over the years, Matt has worked on nearly every aspect of home construction — foundations, framing, finish, painting and roofing — putting his time in the trenches and working his way up through the ranks. He knows the business, and has created a reputation for building high-quality custom homes while working hand-in-hand with clients to ensure their visions become reality. In fact, collaboration is one of his favorite parts of the job — he thrives on problem solving and coming up with creative ideas with clients.

Matt and his wife Kim, who works in real estate, both love calling this area home. They have two daughters, and the family takes time out of their busy schedule to enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle in the Tahoe-Truckee area. Wintertime finds them on the ski slopes where the girls participate on ski teams. Summertime is spent at the lake, and hiking in the mountains.
